How do I know if counseling is right for me?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or wanting support to work through challenges or personal growth, counseling may be a good fit. Many people seek counseling for stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, or simply wanting a safe place to talk.
What ages do you work with?
We provide counseling for clients across the lifespan, from early childhood (3+) through adulthood. Because each clinician has unique areas of focus, we match clients by age and needs to ensure the best fit.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Fill out our contact form, and we will reach out to you to schedule a consultation call. If you think we are a good fit for you, we will be happy to schedule you at that time.
What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is about getting to know you, your goals, and what brought you to counseling. We’ll talk through your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve.
Will my faith or spirituality be a part of therapy?
That’s completely up to you.
At our practice, we honor each client’s values, beliefs, and preferences. For some people, faith or spirituality is an important source of strength and healing, and we’re comfortable integrating it into counseling if you’d like. For others, therapy is most helpful without a spiritual focus—and that’s equally welcome. Our goal is to meet you where you are and support your journey in the way that feels most authentic to you.
How long does counseling take?
Every person’s journey is different. Some people benefit from short-term counseling, while others find longer-term support most helpful. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, though frequency can change depending on your goals and progress.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We are currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS TX, BCBS of Mass. (telehealth only), Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania (telehealth only), Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey (telehealth only), Quest Behavioral Health, and Carelon Behavioral Health.
We are in the process of credentialing with Oscar, Oxford, United Health Care, Some Medicare Advantage policies, Traditional Medicare, and Medicaid.

What if I don’t connect with my counselor?
That’s okay—sometimes it takes trying a different approach or counselor. We’ll support you in finding the right fit, even if it means referring you elsewhere.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is held exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer your time to another client.
No-shows or late-canceled appointments (less than 24 hours’ notice without sufficient reason) will be billed at the full session rate.
How long are sessions?
Most individual sessions last about 50 minutes. Group or specialized sessions may vary.
What should I bring to my first session?
Just yourself. If you’re a new client, you’ll complete intake forms through the online client portal beforehand.
